About MRTek

You work directly with the person doing the work.

I’m Michael Robinson. For more than thirty years, I’ve helped large, complex organizations figure out which problems actually matter, which ones are just noise, and what is worth fixing first.

My background is in cloud, AI, security, and technology strategy at enterprise scale. But the most valuable skill I learned was not how to build bigger systems. It was how to simplify complicated problems, avoid unnecessary work, and focus on the few changes that produce meaningful results.

That’s why I started MRTek. Small-business owners should be able to benefit from useful AI and automation without hiring an IT department, committing to a six-month project, or buying a complicated system they don’t need. I won’t sell you the heavyweight version of a lightweight fix.

How I work

Find what’s worth fixing, then fix that

I start by listening and learning how your business actually works. I look for problems such as missed calls, repetitive paperwork, scheduling headaches, slow customer follow-up, disconnected tools, and tasks that keep the owner working long after everyone else has gone home.

Then we decide what is truly worth improving. Sometimes the right answer is automation. Sometimes it is a simpler process, a better tool, or a small change that removes hours of frustration. I explain the options in plain English and recommend only work that should create more value than it costs — through saved time, recovered revenue, better customer service, reduced risk, or greater peace of mind.

1Find what is eating your time.
2Fix what is worth fixing.
3Keep it simple.
4Prove it worked.

Whether you work alone, with family, or with a small crew, the approach is the same.
